Adult Dance and Wellness DROP-IN Classes
Adults and college students have busy schedules that prevent them from signing up for a full year of classes. LDT offers Adult classes that require no enrollment. You may pay for the single class or purchase a class card good for ten classes. College students/seniors with a valid ID receive discounted prices on single classes and class cards.

Adult Beginner/Intermediate Ballet focuses on the elementary principals of ballet with a focus toward individual progression at a steady comfortable pace and with the understanding that every unique body has a natural aptitude for movement. A great way to stay in shape!
Leotard, tights, and Ballet shoes required
Adult Intermediate Ballet is an intermediate level ballet class focusing on progressing at a steady pace with the understanding that every unique body has a natural aptitude for movement. A great way to stay in shape! Previous ballet experience is required. Leotard and tights recommended, Ballet shoes required.
Adult Intermediate/Advanced Ballet involves more complex ballet concepts and elements. Previous ballet experience required. Leotard and tights recommended, Ballet shoes required.
Adult Intermediate/Advanced Tap Uses rhythm as a basis, this class focuses on foot isolation, strength, weight shift, balance and coordination are emphasized. Wear clothes you can move in. Tap shoes are required, flat soled tap shoes are preferred.
Dance Fit combines street dance, cardio and body conditioning elements to burn calories and tone muscles. No dance experience is required. Workout wear and sneakers recommended.
Pilates is a form of strength training and conditioning developed by Joseph Pilates. Pilates increases core strength using breath, flow, coordination, concentration, control and precision. This class uses a yoga mat. Workout wear and a yoga mat recommended.
Zumba is a dance fitness program designed to make dance fun. Classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring. The routines feature interval training sessions with fast and slow rhythms and resistance training that tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got it! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students. Workout wear and Sneakers recommended.
Adult Session Class:
Adult Ballet Basics Ballet Basics is for Adults who have always wanted to try ballet or who haven’t danced in many years. Unlike the drop in classes above Ballet Basics requires enrollment. The continuity of 8-week sessions allow for greater understanding for those new to ballet. Three 8-week sessions will be offered throughout the year. Classes incorporate the fundamentals of ballet, the history of the art form, and how to prepare your body for a higher level ballet class. Ballet Basics is a great non-aerobic way to tone and firm your muscles.
Three 8 week sessions offered/ $120 per session or $310 for all three.
