Artistic Director Graham Lustig and the LDT dancers answer questions from students following an on-school time performance of "Luna Mexicana" at Rutgers University-Camden.
On-school-time assemblies feature a live performance by the professional company and an opportunity for students to interact with the dancers. Popular choices for assemblies include Luna Mexicana, Beauty and the Beast, and Jump, Frog, Jump. (Click on each piece to learn more!) Assemblies can be designed for various age groups and to fit the students’ interests – we can include a pre-show discussion to prepare the students for the performance, a post-show question talk-back with the choreographer and dancers, and even a look into the life of a dancer. Teachers are provided with a study guide prior to the assembly to help prepare the students for the performance.
