Norbert De La Cruz

Norbert De La Cruz was born in the Philippines and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He started dancing at the age of 12 and was mentored and trained by Vera Ninkovic. Norbert graduated from The Juilliard School in 2010 and has danced with Sydney Skybetter & Associates, Balletto Teatro di Torino, Aszure Barton & Artists and in Aida at the Metropolitan Opera House. Norbert has been honored to receive several scholarships and awards, including full scholarships to ABT’s Summer Dance Intensive and Alonzo King Lines summer school, as well as The California Alliance for the Arts Association’s Emerging Young Artist’s Award, 3rd place Regional Award at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2005, and a merit award in non-classical dance at the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts in 2006.
